Meet Dr. Brooke Jeffy

A smiling female doctor with blonde hair, wearing a white lab coat over a black blouse, holding a magnifying glass in her right hand, and standing confidently with her left hand on her hip.

Board-certified dermatologist. Educator. Speaker. A more thoughtful approach to skin health.

I’m Brooke Jeffy, MD, a board-certified dermatologist in Scottsdale, Arizona, serving patients from Paradise Valley and throughout the Phoenix area. I created my practice for people who want something increasingly difficult to find in medicine: time, access, thoughtful guidance, and a physician who looks beyond what can be seen on the surface.

My approach brings together medical dermatology, skin longevity, aesthetics, hair health, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine. Rather than treating each concern in isolation, I look at the bigger picture - what is happening now, what may be contributing to it, and what we can do to improve the health and appearance of your skin and hair over time.

Through my concierge practice, I’m able to spend more time with each patient, develop highly individualized plans, and build the kind of long-term physician relationship that is increasingly difficult to create in traditional dermatology.

Dermatology Differently

I believe great dermatologic care should do more than diagnose a condition or recommend a product.

Skin and hair are influenced by genetics, hormones, nutrition, medications, environment, stress, sleep, and the way we care for ourselves every day. Understanding those connections allows me to approach concerns such as acne, hair loss, rosacea, pigmentation, and skin aging with considerably more context.

That doesn’t mean chasing every wellness trend or ordering every available test. It means knowing when the bigger picture matters and using evidence, clinical experience, and careful observation to determine what is actually worth addressing.

The same philosophy guides my approach to aesthetics. My goal isn’t to make patients look different. It’s to help them maintain healthy, resilient skin and look like themselves as they age.

Physician. Educator. Trusted Voice.

I have appeared on Good Morning America and regularly contribute dermatologic expertise to national media including The New York Times, CNN, The Washington Post, Vogue, Forbes, TODAY, Allure, and others.

I am particularly involved in the conversation around skincare safety for children and teens, helping parents navigate a world in which young people are being introduced to increasingly sophisticated products, social media trends, and beauty marketing at younger ages.

I also serve on the ELLE Beauty Advisory Board, contributing my perspective as a dermatologist to conversations around beauty, skincare, and emerging trends.

I often speak to professional and consumer audiences about dermatology, skincare, healthy aging, and the intersection of skin health, lifestyle, and wellness.

Whether I’m speaking onstage, talking with a journalist, recording a podcast, or sitting across from a patient, my goal is essentially the same: make complicated information understandable enough that people can make better decisions about their health.

Dermatology Doesn't Always Have to Be So Serious

I co-host Derm and Dumber with my husband, where we talk about skincare, health, aging, wellness trends, internet absurdity, and whatever else has made its way into our lives that week.

It's dermatology and health through a slightly less polished lens—and probably a more accurate representation of what conversations with us actually sound like.

Experience & Expertise

I am a board-certified dermatologist with a particular interest in approaching skin and hair health through a broader view of health, lifestyle, and aging.

Before specializing in dermatology, I completed two years of pathology residency training, an experience that strengthened my understanding of disease at the tissue level and continues to inform the way I think about diagnosis and skin disease today.

My clinical interests include acne, hair loss, rosacea, pigmentation and melasma, skin longevity, and natural aesthetic optimization. My additional training in nutrition and lifestyle medicine allows me to consider factors beyond the skin when they are relevant, without losing sight of evidence-based dermatologic care.

Today, my Scottsdale practice is intentionally small. Limiting the number of patients I care for allows me to provide longer visits, direct physician access, thoughtful follow-up, and highly individualized treatment plans.

I remain deeply engaged with emerging research and technology in dermatology. New treatments are exciting, but new is not necessarily better. My job is to understand what’s new, determine what’s actually worthwhile, and help my patients make thoughtful decisions about their care.

A Personal Note

I grew up in Kentucky and now call Arizona home. Outside the office, I’m a wife and mom, dog person, yoga enthusiast, pilates hopeful, and someone who would almost always rather be near the mountains or the ocean.

Like most people, I also know what it feels like to watch your body and skin change with age, to try to balance health with a very full life, and to realize that good health can suddenly feel much more personal than it once did.

Those experiences have influenced the physician I want to be: someone who listens carefully, tells you exactly what I think, and helps you make thoughtful decisions without making medicine more complicated than it needs to be.

I also believe there’s room for humor in medicine. My style is warm, direct, occasionally sarcastic, and decidedly human. I take your health seriously. I just don’t think we have to take ourselves seriously all the time.
