Dr. Jeffy provides care for the following conditions virtually or in person:
- Every appointment is with board certified dermatologist Brooke Jeffy MD
- We utilize longer appointment times to allow personalized personable care
- Most procedures can be done same day, minimizing the need for follow up appointments
- We do not accept insurance or Medicare but offer flat fee services with transparent prices otherwise known as direct care or cash pay
- We offer virtual appointments for convenience
- The practice is intentionally small and family run allowing us to offer a level of care and compassion that is second to none
Why direct care?
The current health system is broken. The traditional health care model buries doctors in busy work, promotes fragmented care and neglects the role of overall health and wellness care. I created a direct care dermatology practice so I can put the health of my patients first.
I believe in restoring the traditional doctor-patient relationship. I work with my patients to restore health, not for an insurance company. I do not accept insurance but transparent cash pay pricing.
I believe in the convenience of virtual care when appropriate. Traffic, taking time off work, missing school, long wait times… these are things of the past.
General Dermatology

25 Minute Appointments
- Full skin cancer screening including dermatoscopic evaluation of suspicious lesions. Includes destruction of up to 3 lesions.
- Initial hair loss evaluation
- First visit for acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis or rash
- Multiple concerns
$150
15 Minute Appointments
- Single lesion evaluation
- Medication refill
- Warts, molluscum, tags, seborrheic keratoses, milia
- Monthly accutane appointments
- Most follow up visits
Procedure Costs:
- $30 Each – Shave Biopsies, Shave Excisions, Punch Biopsies (No Suture, does not include pathology fee)
- $40/5 Lesions – Lesion Destruction (Skin Tags, Actinic Keratosis/Pre-cancers, Mila, Warts, Seborrheic Keratoses)
- $90 – Punch Biopsy that requires suture or gelfoam (Includes suture removal, does not include pathology fee)
- $30 – Steroid Injection, per syringe
- $50 – Malignancy Destruction (EDC) if done at time of biopsy; otherwise up to 2 included in cost of 15 minute follow up visit after pathology reviewed (If no other issues discussed)
- $50 Minimum – Incision and Drainage (I&D)
- $125 Minimum – Cyst Removal with exact pricing depending on location, size and complexity
- $50 Medication Prior Authorization, $75 Biologic Prior Authorization – Dr. Jeffy strives to provide cost effective medications and utilizes various pharmacies to do so. If you choose to use your private insurance to obtain medications, and a prior authorization (PA) is required, there will be an additional fee to submit this on your behalf.
Scheduling, payments & cancellation policies
All new patients must utilize the online booking system to schedule an appointment. Existing patients may book online or via phone/text. All patients must pre-pay for the respective appointment type at the time of booking. Full payment of any outstanding balance is required on the day of the appointment. Acceptable forms of payment are credit/debit card.
No-shows, cancellations or rescheduled appointments made within 24 hours of the appointment will the incur the following fees:
- New patient: $100
- Existing patient: $75.
This policy applies regardless of circumstance.
Insurance, reimbursement, FSA/HSA
We do not accept insurance and are out-of-network with all insurance plans. We do not participate in Medicare. If you have a private insurance plan with out-of-network benefits, we can provide information you will need after your appointment to request reimbursement but can not guarantee success. Itemized receipts can be provided for HSA/FSA. If you have any questions, please reach out.
